As president and co-owner of Spokane, Wash.–based Angus Brands, Tom Stachecki has grown the company to become a leading supplier of quality meat products to hundreds of regional foodservice and retail customers and a bold innovator who has spent more than a decade developing prepared food concepts for quality- and convenience-minded consumers.

Since its founding in 1972, Tom has been instrumental in building Angus Brands into a premier food processor serving the Inland Northwest. In 2000, he assumed control of the company and began to direct its energies toward new product R&D. Under his leadership, the company has thrived by making employee development, investments in processing and packaging technology and a commitment to the utmost in customer service and product quality the cornerstone of the company.

In 2006, the company unveiled its most exciting new product line yet, the gourmet-quality, ready-to-cook meals called Bold Eats. With seven exciting varieties that feature flavor-forward taste, unique ingredients and wild new versions of many authentic recipes from around the world, Bold Eats has drawn rave reviews and created real excitement among consumers and retailers alike.

Tom currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Falls Church, Va.—based North American Meat Processors Association, a professional trade group dedicated to enhancing food safety, product quality and employees well being among its hundreds of meat processing and specialty food company-members.
